Shop at the Dream Shop at Eastern State Hospital

The Dream Shop is a gift shop at Eastern State Hospital that is staffed and managed by the patients with guidance from Laura Dollieslager. They sell fair trade craft items from Kenya and Guatemala. Profits from the shop are used to support MAO Kenya projects and a community-based school in Guatemala. By working as staff and volunteers at The Dream Shop, patients can engage with the public and be part of a project that is improving lives in distant parts of the world, as well as building occupational and customer interaction skills.
